Todd & Emeris Rhines
Kijani Farm is a gospel-centered community development ministry in southern Kenya. Our mission is to inspire hope and create opportunity for the Maasai communities who have been denied basic resources for healthy living in the past. The vision of our ministry is to see the first generation of a thousand generations come to know Jesus as Savior and Lord.
Todd and Emeris are a part of our church family at Center and they serve on the team for Kijani Farm as the ministry's storytellers. They split their efforts between Kenya and the United States to gather stories, connect with the Maasai community, and help develop Kijani Farm partnerships.
Kijani Farm serves the Maasai people by providing clean water, access to medical help, educational resources, job training, and most importantly the chance to hear about Jesus' Gospel news. These areas of focus create the framework of Kijani Farm to help without creating dependency. -
The Crete Collective
The Church invests significant effort in planting new churches and revitalizing failing ones across the United States. But there remain ethnic and poor communities largely untouched by this gospel work.
The Crete Collective exists to establish gospel-driven churches in distressed and neglected Black and Brown communities.

Christian Neighbors Church
CNC began when a few neighbors in south Waukegan started meeting for Bible study and prayer. This fellowship grew into a tight-knit, multi-ethnic church that held its first public worship service on January 8, 2012. Since then, CNC has continued to develop into a family that unites people from different walks of life. Here people of different races, cultures, classes, and generations come together to worship Jesus and grow in their faith.
At Center, we are excited to see how God is moving in Waukegan through Christian Neighbors Church. We partner with them through financial gifts as they work towards a building to call home, and support their efforts by joining their team for special work days in the community. -
Hands of God Serving
HOGS (Hands of God Serving) is a ministry made up of a small group of men from our church who use their skills and time to serve others in practical, meaningful ways. Whether it’s a leaky faucet, car trouble, or a project that’s just too heavy to tackle alone, they want to help and are ready to step in when someone could use a hand. From carpentry and plumbing to general handyman work and light construction, their goal is to use their gifts to care for people in tangible ways.
